View Full Version : Origins of your screen name?

wizardwriter

self-explanatory question, what’s behind your screen name?

I got the name Wizard years ago, when I decided to branch off my roofing company (being the wife and me, I called it Just Us roofing), I named this new company Wizard Construction, with the slogan, ‘We’ll fuck it up so fast you’ll think it’s magic.’
I had real cards stating, “We’ll build castles out of your dreams.’ But passed out so many of the others I had to get them reprinted three times. They were soon spread out all over the Pacific Northwest and I became the Wizard dude.

Wizard was taken when I finally started going ******, but I was now a writer, so here I am, Wizardwriter.

Ok....mine's not hard to explain.

Freedom came from getting separated and starting my life over. It was how I felt FREE...so....here I am :)

If you remember I used to have the number on my name..that was just my zip code cause it was easy to remember and it matched my email...lol

wizardwriter
08-11-2007, 10:01 PM
hell, good of reason as any

SecretScribe
08-23-2007, 06:29 PM
Well, by now part of my name should be fairly obvious. However the Secret part ... I wrote poetry for years and years ... then threw it away at the end of the day (didn't think it was very good). Some friends on another forum convinced me to stop that (after I got totally trashed, posted one I'd written that day and couldn't remember even posting it the next morning (nor much else of that evening)).

wizardwriter
08-23-2007, 07:50 PM
Cool, and here I just thought you misspelled scribble,
good to have you aboard, on this ship to nowhere, on this ship to everywhere,
and you can get trashed anytime you please and post away-

SecretScribe
09-15-2007, 09:47 AM
Cool, and here I just thought you misspelled scribble ...
Actually one of those people gave me a second nickname ... "Scribbler" ... so you may be more right than you know!

wizardwriter
09-16-2007, 01:47 AM
I had a nickname like that... well, it was the dribbler, no I didn't play basketball- enough said

Archas
09-16-2007, 02:22 AM
Mine stems from when I turned on the television as I was signing up, the Philly's and the Cubs were playing and at the exact moment the Philly's were winning so I put them first. I happen to be an Atlanta Braves fan but it was the first thing I saw and I did not want to use my original nickname that I normally use.

meliketaters
10-05-2007, 03:38 AM
Umm, mine definetely selfexplantory...I like taters!! More so, I LOVE french fries!! Now all I need to do is get the bf to incorporate them in the bedroom w/ me...hehe

wizardwriter
10-05-2007, 04:25 AM
Um-m meliketaters, i'd make you a three course meal, unless you're counting each titty, than it'd be four

Well PC, least the cubs weren't winning, cause Cubphilly is silly

blueshark
10-05-2007, 10:36 PM
My screen name comes from a tattoo I got about ten years ago.
It is easy to remember and I surf so it fits.

crazyericalynn
10-12-2007, 10:26 PM

wizardwriter
10-12-2007, 10:39 PM
damn outbid again by a lady
hm-m, I'd never guessed your crazy name origin crazyericalynn, it's a pretty name- I guess melovestaters would be redundant and bigtitties was probably taken

crazyericalynn
10-12-2007, 10:57 PM
LOL Melovetateters would probably be too confusing and there’s more to me then just bigtitties...

darcylynn
10-12-2007, 11:01 PM
I bet it would be fun to see how much more there was of her than just her big titties. I volunteer to go exploring with my tongue and I will get back to you in a month with my report. ( it may take awhile to explore everything)

crazyericalynn
10-12-2007, 11:03 PM

Scorpio'sWill2Power
10-23-2007, 01:37 PM
Scorpio happens to be my birth sign of the zodiac.

Will To Power is a text written by a favorite
German philosopher of mine, Frederick Nietzsche.

Both him and Carl Jung were those I found gave
me a pattern to follow in my own life from back in the
day of going to school and in between chasing hot tail
all over the place. :p Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha

I gave that up though, like the old story of the baby bull
and the papa bull that I know many of you have heard
before.

The little one runs up to his pop and says

"Hey dad, let's run down the hill and fuck us one of those
cows grazing in the field below.

His old man just says no son,
"let's just walk down the hill and fuck them ALL!!!"

Shannon is my late sister who I never met. In my childhood days, ya know that invisible friend everybody has? That was her. She's become sort of my alter ego. As for the EST, at one time I thought I was an Erotic Story Teller.

If I was a writer, I would actually write. lol

I have a few partials written, and a few more partials written and lost. And at least one or two rolling around in my head. I guess I need to FORCE myself to write a little each day.

Shannon, I felt the same way for a long time. Finally, I decided, "Screw it, I'm just going to write one of these and post it." I did, and have posted several others since. I don't know that they're great, but some people seem to enjoy them, and I enjoy writing. I'd just say, "Go for it!"

As long as you enjoy writing it and people read it, who cares?!?! You've done what you want to do, and it's been acknowledged, so enjoy, friends. I was the same, til I posted a couple of deep poems here. WELL DONE!

Missmelz
12-02-2008, 10:07 AM
I'm MissMelz coz that's the nick I've been using since I started irc'ing in 1991 and its what half my friends call me.

It originally came from one of my friends who used to call my best friend and I Miss Mels. At some point it changed to be Melz. Then when I needed a nick in a hurry, that came to mind.
