Niteowluk, are you planning to have the truckstops be the modern type (well-lit, with showers, etc., for the drivers) or the more old-fashioned run-down establishments?

I used to live in Texas and there was one of those seedy truck stops by where I worked. Basically there was the original shitty building then over the years someone added a shitty expansion and then another shitty expansion. The original building was just a gas station that sold smokes, sodas, legal uppers, and porn. The second expansion was them adding more gas pumps outside, a long, dark hallway leading to the extra bathrooms and showers. Imagine mildew as wallpaper. The third expansion was a greasy spoon resturant farther down the hall with sticky table tops and a bar. It would attract "Lot Lizards", basically prostitues that would blow a trucker in the cab of his truck while he ate he sloppy cheeseburger and it was a big deal if the trucker had a cab with a bed in it. The lizards would take cash or for a ride. Oh, and a lot of amphetamines sold. Plus, it's Texas so the original building, the original gas station, sold bad-ass T-shirts with skulls and confediarate flags on them.
